Changelog
Release notes
The new features and improvements in each version of SpiderGit, newest first.
Latest version
SpiderGit 1.0.1
Version 1.0.1 makes startup clearer and simplifies everyday work with branches and tags.
New
Startup screen
- A splash screen appears on launch and stays visible until the workspace is ready.
- Startup data preparation now runs in the background, without blocking the interface.
Automatic tag push
- The tag creation window now has a Push the tag automatically option: when it is on, the tag is published to the remote right after it is created. If the repository has more than one remote, SpiderGit asks which one to publish it to.
- SpiderGit remembers your last choice and offers it again the next time you create a tag.
Improvements
Branches panel
- The Local branches, Remote branches and Tags sections can be opened and closed by clicking their header. When a repository opens, only the local branches section is open.
- While you search the panel, all sections stay open so that results are always visible.
- The Tags section shows the 20 most recent tags. The Show all tags button at the bottom of the list displays the complete list.
